Scenic Coeur d’Alene River Float *IdahoGem Trip!(Meets 45 minutes East of Coeur d’Alene, ID or 2 hour drive from Missoula) Idea: Stay at a campground on this river on your way to Spokane/Seattle. This trip is located near Cataldo, ID. This is a great way to spend half the day in the Coeur d’Alene/Spokane area. This is a nice two to four hour river float (depending on season and water flow) down the Lower Coeur d’AleneRiver! Great for all ages and abilities!Nervous about younger children on the boats? This is your float trip! You get out on the water without any stress. Picture a lazy river, warm breezes and a total release of all your cares! Guests view birds, moose, and has North Idaho written all over it. This is a peaceful section of river with gentle flows that run all summer long. Jump in to swim! This is a crystal clear spring fed water that houses Cutthroat year round and Chinook Salmon in the fall. Coeur d’Alene River trips include:Life Jackets, guide, raft. Guide will paddle. This trip meets at Castaway Outfitters on the Coeur d’Alene River (next to the Snake Pit Bar) just off I-90 at Kingston Exit. Minimum: There is a three person minimum on this trip to afford the trip cost. Customers are welcome to pay a $50 ghost fee to cover the cost of shuttle/guide/gas to make the trip a go for a party of less than 3 or join another couple/group to go out. Scenic Spokane River Float (Meets along the river downtown Spokane on Water Ave – River Park) Headed all the way to Spokane, Washington? May through October this option is ideal for large groups looking for a relaxing adventure surrounded by the beauty of the Inland Northwest. Nervous about younger children on the boats? Feel free to explore this float trip! You get out on the water without any stress. Games provided by your fun-loving tour guides if desired. Spokane river trips include:Life Jackets, wet suits if needed for comfort, splash jackets, guide, boat, and paddles. This trip lasts about 2 hours depending on water flow. Calm flat water, ripples and no waves, Ages 3+ beginner Season runs May – October.

This beginner level scenic gentle float route is the closest to Spokane. If you have limited time or don’t want to travel the 2 hours to the world class Scenic Clark Fork River, this trip is perfect for the fresh air and views. This trip provides the opportunity for leisure time and enjoy any wildlife you might view. The Spokane River Scenic Trip is close to town and goes right through the heart of Spokane, taking out at a park just before the famous devils toenail and bowl and pitcher rapids. All Clark Fork River trips include:Life Jackets, wet suits if needed for comfort, splash jackets, water shoes, guide, boat, paddles, shuttle back to your vehicle at our raft shop on the Clark Fork River, group transportation from Missoula (arrange in advance), and private parking. Full days include locally sourcedlunchfeaturing fresh garden grown produce grown on site. Free Shuttle Available for groups in Missoula (arrange in advance). Customers meet at our Montana river shop. All Clark Fork trips meet 30 minutes west of Missoula at the Clark Fork River shop: 39 Juniper Lane, Alberton MT 59834 – 2 hours east of Coeur d’Alene just off I-90 on the way to Glacier National Park. Trips run April-November, weather permitting. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure for check in. Clark Fork River trips run about 2-3 hours on the water without lunch and 4-5 hours with lunch and an additional sandy beach stop to swim during mid summer weather.

Meet at our shop and we’ll take care of everything for your group. We provide all the gear needed, shuttle back to your vehicle, drinks, and stream side catered lunch half way through your trip. Clark Fork River Scenic River Float with Lunch (Meets 30 minutes west of Missoula at the Clark Fork River shop: 39 Juniper Lane, Alberton MT 59834 – 2 hours east of Coeur d’Alene just off I-90 on the way to Glacier National Park) Kickback on this 4 to 5 hour scenic float trip (varies due to water flow) through Tarkio Canyon and an open vista while we calmly float a six mile stretch of river stopping for lunch on a sandy beach. We often see deer, elk, beaver, eagles, osprey and variety of waterfowl on this stretch. You will pass by mining camps and Quarts Creek Tributary and a few other creeks running into the mighty Clark Fork River. All gear provided.
